Events are brilliant but busy. A little prep protects your cards and keeps trading enjoyable for everyone.

Protection

Carry a zip binder in a backpack with a flat back panel. Consider a slim hardboard sheet inside the front and back covers for extra stiffness.

Etiquette

  • Only remove a card from a sleeve with permission
  • Keep hands clean and dry; avoid food and drink near binders
  • Respect people’s lists and time be clear about what you’re seeking

Weather and queues

Avoid open air and rain queues; moisture warps pages fast. Keep silica gel in the bag if the venue is humid.
