One binder per set, a swaps binder, and a favourites binder

Why a set‑per‑binder approach keeps things simple, plus how a swaps binder and a favourites binder make collecting more enjoyable.

Design these placeholders

Separating by purpose is powerful: one binder per set for structure; a swaps binder for trading; and a favourites binder for the cards that make you smile.

Set‑per‑binder

Each binder gets a title page and number range. This avoids reshuffling when sets grow and keeps weight manageable.

Swaps binder

Keep duplicates and trade targets in their own binder. Use clear notes under placeholders (e.g., needs better centring). Zip binders are ideal for travel we recommend Vault X zip binders (not a paid advert).

Favourites binder

Curate cards with personal stories or art you love. It’s a great way to celebrate the hobby without chasing number completion.
